FEIDA creative design for high performance butterfly valve stem bearing

The special design stem bearing is design for high frequency operation to provide a durable & good sealing performance. It is combined with stainless steel tube and inner lining RPTFE. When the valve open/close, the inner lining RPTFE will be the lubricant to minimize operation friction and torque. Normally, the stem packing is made of graphite, but after a strenuous operation, the graphite will peel off, the peeled graphite chips will go into the flow-path to contaminate the flow media. Due to the high frequency operation (at least 2 operation/minute) requirement of gas industry valves, our stem bearing is a perfect design for Gas Industry especially the Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption.


FEIDA is specialized in High Performance Butterfly Valve for more than 15 years. There are 2 main facilities includes 2 valve assembly & testing factories, 1 large CNC machinery plant, 1 investment casting foundry (3000T/Y) and 1 valve R&D center, equipped with most advanced production equipment and testing equipment.

The fire safe butterfly valve is also in FEIDA VALVE product range. Our fire safe butterfly valve is certificated by American Petroleum Institute (API) according to API 607 standards.

FEIDA also build up a dustless workshop to produce ultra-clean valve for some critical working condition such as nuclear industry, semiconductor industry etc.

In the dustless workshp, FEIDA also produce the food-grade valves. FEIDA food-grade valve is certificated by Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

What is difference about zero, double and tripple offset butterfly valve?

Choosing the wrong type of valve can be detrimental to your operation. There are a few different types of  butterfly valves  on the market, including the zero offset, double offset, and triple offset. Zero Offset Also known as a concentric design, this is common in general service ‘resilient seated’ or ‘rubber seated’ butterfly valves. The stem and disc are centered in the seat of the valve, all of which are centered in the body of the valve. The disc is in constant contact with the seat. An advantage of this valve is the media going through the valve will not contact the body, since the seat is constructed as a sleeve or cartridge inside of the body. Zero offset butterfly valves are used in basic and specialty liquid and gas applications up to 200 PSI and up to 400 deg F.
