The outlet pipe should be installed outside as far as possible

If allowed, the outlet pipe of the central air conditioner should be installed outdoors. In order to save trouble, some people will connect the pipe to a floor drain casually. This is not only easy to have peculiar smell, it may be blocked after a long time, and may even cause backflow.

If there is really no way to discharge outside, you can ask the decoration company to reserve a dedicated floor drain for central air conditioning in advance.


The location of the outdoor unit must be selected

The place where the outdoor unit is placed should be well ventilated, well-oriented, and far away from the bedroom. If the ventilation is not good, when the weather is hot, the outdoor machine often protects itself and stops to dissipate heat, causing it to not work. When the weather is cold, the central air conditioner will often defrost and affect its heating effect.
